Meet Dr. Jaime Peterson, one of our friendly and experienced dentists!
Dr. Jaime Peterson has practiced in WNC for over 15 years with a focus on cosmetic, restorative and implant dentistry. Her commitment to personalized care ensures that every patient feels comfortable, confident, and understood. Her goal is to create a positive and calming dental experience for all. Dr. Peterson is dedicated to staying current with the latest techniques and technology in dentistry in order to provide comprehensive care to her patients. In 2020, she earned her Fellowship in both the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Originally from Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Peterson pursued her education at Boston University and the University of Pittsburgh, and she earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Virginia Commonwealth University. She continued south and came to Asheville in 2010 to complete a dental residency at MAHEC. During that time she met her husband, a Hendersonville native, and made Mills River her home. She and her husband have two sweet kids, E.J. and Lily, and a blue heeler, Scout.
Dr. Peterson stays connected to the community by volunteering on the dental bus in Marshall, NC and volunteering at her children’s school. Away from the clinic, she spends her time outdoors with her family. They enjoy hiking, biking, kayaking, camping, and traveling. She is also a rowdy Pittsburgh Steelers fan. By balancing her roles as a dentist, wife, and mother, Dr. Peterson remains connected to her community, always striving to offer the best care with warmth and empathy.
