Dr. Matthew Mayer was inspired to become a dentist by his family dentist near Greensboro, who always treated everyone with respect and a smile. He finds fulfillment in helping people achieve their health and smile goals. Over the years, he has served with Habitat for Humanity, the Bainbridge Island Land Trust, Medical Teams International, the Foundation for International Medical Relief of Children, and Missions of Mercy, believing in contributing to both local and international communities. Dr. Mayer earned a biology degree from North Carolina State University and his dental degree from the University of Kentucky. After graduating in 2012, he spent 8 years exploring the Pacific Northwest before returning to North Carolina in 2020. He enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, rock climbing, and kayaking. Dr. Mayer loves working in a dental office with a friendly team and state-of-the-art equipment, building long-term relationships with patients. He feels at home in Mills River, surrounded by the North Carolina mountains.

Hello, I’m Dr. Nicole Dolezar. I love being able to positively impact someone’s health and self-confidence through dentistry. I earned a Biology degree with a minor in Chemistry from The University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Master of Science in Biology from UNC-Charlotte. While researching at Carolinas Medical Center, I discovered my passion for direct patient care and decided to pursue my childhood dream of becoming a dentist. I graduated from East Carolina University School of Dental Medicine and completed ECU’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program, graduating cum laude. I strive to create a comforting and positive dental experience for my patients. Outside of work, I’m a mom to two wonderful little girls, and my husband and I enjoy building a homestead and creating a healthy lifestyle. I also enjoy disc golfing, water skiing, and dancing to live music.

Kyle was born and raised in Houston, Texas. After high school, Kyle lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina for two years as a missionary for his church. He then attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a degree in Biomedical Sciences and a Certificate in Cultural Competency and Communication in Spanish. Kyle continued his pursuit of dentistry by attending Texas A&M College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. Kyle recently relocated from Maui, Hawaii to serve the Asheville and surrounding communities. In his free time, Kyle loves maintaining an active lifestyle with his wife, Allison, and his daughters, Emmy and Sydney. He runs Spartan Races, loves to play all types of sports and is always looking for the next best waterfall swimming hole.
